When you create an account, we collect the information needed to authenticate your identity and manage your subscription. Depending on how you register:
We do not collect your postal address. The information we collect is used only to provide and support the Service, manage your account, and send service-related communications.
Low Clearance Map (web): Whenever you visit our website, we collect information that your browser sends to us, referred to as Log Data. This may include your Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser version, pages visited, the time and date of your visit, time spent on pages, and other statistics. This data is collected in part through Google Analytics (see Analytics section below).
HeadRoom (mobile app): The HeadRoom app does not use analytics services and does not collect log data beyond what is strictly required to authenticate your account and process your subscription.
Our Service is hosted on Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run). As part of normal server operation, backend infrastructure logs are automatically generated and may include your IP address, request timestamps, and HTTP request metadata. These logs are retained for up to 30 days and are used solely for security monitoring and debugging.

This route data is retained and used exclusively to improve the quality and accuracy of our bridge and clearance data through ongoing curation and review. It is not used for marketing, advertising, or any commercial purpose beyond operating and improving the Service. We do not sell this data to third parties.
This applies to both the Low Clearance Map website and the HeadRoom mobile app.
Both Low Clearance Map and HeadRoom allow you to save a vehicle profile including details such as vehicle height, weight, and axle configuration, so you receive accurate clearance alerts for your specific vehicle.
We have no access to this data. You can remove it at any time by clearing site data for lowclearancemap.com (web) or by uninstalling the HeadRoom app (mobile).
